Illegal immigration concerns continue to knock on America’s door as the
issues of sanctuary cities, state college access, and Hispanic voter blocks
come to the forefront.
With the increasing dissatisfaction of the Hispanic population with Republican
conservative principles on illegal immigration, political pundits anticipate
that Colorado, Florida, Nevada, and New Mexico will, for the first time in recent
national elections, shift to Democrats – a move that will all but insure a
Democrat presidential victory in the fall.
“Providing citizenship, as the Democrats clearly want, to the 10,000,000
to 20,000,000 illegal immigrants currently in the country will establish a
Hispanic voter block that will dominate the political future in America”, says
11th District Republican Congressional candidate Carl Mumpower. “This backdoor effort to kidnap America comes
under the guise of humane concern for the downtrodden, when it is more
realistically power politics as usual.”
The Governor of North Carolina and other NC State Democrat Legislative
leaders have come out in favor of providing open college access to illegal
immigrants. Noting that the out of state
tuition they pay will fairly compensate for that educational access, their
support is a sending a clear message to Hispanics that the Democrat party is
their party. “Liberal Democrats in a
majority position have a demonstrated history of seducing voters with special
interest accommodations at the expense of the average tax paying citizen”, said
Mumpower. “Ignoring the heavy
subsidization that all state colleges receive and the provisions in the bill
that describe how to help illegal immigrants evade tuition makes this open
state college access another Democrat power grab that mocks legal citizens.”
“Sanctuary cities, which are without exception, products of Liberal Democrat
controlled local governments, are another slap in the face of the legal
citizens who absorb the crime and harms that come with that designation”, noted
Mumpower. “It would be my position that
any city that establishes sanctuary status for illegal immigrants should be
denied Federal dollars and other considerations for their intentional efforts
to aid and abet law breakers.” “Washington
doesn’t have the courage to challenge the sanctuary cities, but they are
willing to ignore the “mumbling majority” of Americans who have not yet had
their “enough is enough” button pushed.
“Illegal immigration and an indifference to the rule of law in America
are like a cancer that is eating our heart from within”, says Mumpower. “While our leaders obfuscate over trivia in
Washington, Mexico continues to uphold draconian immigration policies with the
same hands that point a finger at America for simply trying to uphold our
