Mexican Consulate Visit and Voter Fraud Have Much In Common E-mail
July 1, 2008

11th District GOP Congressional candidate Carl Mumpower and about 35 fellow protestors rose with the roosters on Saturday to challenge a visit to Henderson County by the Mexican Consulate staff.  "We did what we intended to do, and I am proud of the patriots who took time to illuminate this charade," said Mumpower.

The Consulate staff arrived in a convoy of a half dozen cars and SUV's with the intended purpose of providing services to 400 preregistered Latinos seeking I.D., passports, and other assistance.  "I am disturbed with the service model of the Mexican government," said Mumpower.  "Try getting that kind of enthusiastic support from our government."  "If the Mexican government is so well financed and efficient, why are so many of their people running away?"

"Two of Mexico's major exports are people and drugs," noted Mumpower.  "This Consulate staff visit was obviously dedicated to supporting at least one of those agendas."  "The thin cover of legal activity, like passports for children of Mexican citizens born here, poorly conceals other efforts to enable Mexican citizens to remain in America."

Mumpower has additional concerns on the U.S. Government's complacency on illegal immigration that he describes as "a form of cultural terrorism".  "The next natural step for illegal aliens and their supporters is to get them voting and get them amnesty," said Mumpower.  "North Carolina makes it easy to cheat on voter registration through a self-report procedure."  "Sure it is a felony to provide false information, but enforcement is a sham.   All you have to do is say you do not have a driver's license or social security number and pledge your identity and you are in the system.  If a person will come across the border illegally; work a job under the table or with fake I.D.; and milk the medical and social service system to personal advantage, does anyone really believe they would not fake a voter registration?"

"We have a flood of people coming across our border to use America," shares Mumpower.  They are being helped by a well financed Consulate machine, employers, and other enablers in our communities held unaccountable by a paralyzed U.S. government."  "I will take the risks and ridicule that come with fighting back - this conspiracy of forces should not go unchallenged.  An open border, like an open wound, is a recipe for disaster."
