This
past Saturday morning, my son and myself had the opportunity to speak to the
Brevard Breakfast Republicans Club. It was our first opportunity since
the primary to share our "Unite and Ignite Campaign - Twenty Strategies
for Winning the 11th District Congressional Seat" with an organized group
of WNC Republicans. I appreciated these folks coming out, listening to
our twenty point plan, and giving me opportunity to field questions from a
clearly informed and motivated group.
In coming
weeks it is my goal to speak to every organized group of Republican in WNC
about our campaign. I want you to know how we plan to "unite and
ignite" conservatives in WNC and use the 11th District race to change the
formula for how members of Congress are elected and serve.
The campaign
began the moment the primary ended on May 6th. Contrary to tradition, we
are not taking the summer off and will be pushing hard between now and
November. We want you to know our plan and the crucial part you play in
making it a success.
Please let us
know when you are meeting next so that we may come and bring the campaign to
life for your group. Brevard was our first stop and we turned up the
excitement dial by the time we left. It's my bet we can do that all over
the district.
